Is it viable to use w32tm.exe's option stripchart to judge the time variance of two hosts (within a very small margin of error) I have 2 domain controllers, that are not on the same forest (they are on the same network though) i am trying to have both of them sync from the same time sync server (time.windows.com) so times. Note that w32tm.exe's stripchart function is separate than the algo.

The router the active directory server there is a race condition when there are multiple dhcp servers in the same network When a computer registers your router as it's dns, nslookup queries from this computer are asked to the router and it can't find your hostname
